1 10oz can of Young Green Jackfruit in brine
1 12oz jar of Annie’s organic bbq sweet and spicy sauce
Drain and thoroughly rinse the jackfruit. Take a fork and shred the jackfruit (if is easier you can wait to do this until it is cooked but be careful not to burn yourself). Place jackfruit and about 1/ 2 a jar of bbq sauce in the slow cooker of high. After 30 minutes stir and cook for 30 more. Eat on bread for a tasty bbq sandwich or serve by itself. We ate it with a side of mac and cheese (taken from The Kind Diet website), a side salad and a few white gluten free biscuit.
