Natural crunch peanut butter
Agave nectar
Vanilla extract
Baking powder
Flaxseed meal
Sucanat

Mix all ingredients together.  We use the jarred natural crunch peanut butter from Whole Foods 365 brand. I don’t why but it is the best PB we have used with this recipe.

MOFO 2013 - Cinnamon Roasted Cauliflower

Cinnamon Roasted Cauliflower

Cauliflower
Olive oil
Cornmeal
Cinnamon
Sea salt, to taste

Mix cornmeal, cinnamon & sea salt together.
Chop cauliflower into bite size pieces then add oil
Toss cauliflower/oil into dry mix then transfer to baking pan.
I kept thinking cinnamon was a sweet spice since it in the cookies, etc. It’s not of course.  But it does add a lot to the recipe. This is an odd recipe but worth trying.  The cauliflower was very tender & good.

MOFO 2013 - Tomato Basil Soup

Roma tomatoes

Tomato Juice

Large fresh Basil leaves

Nondairy milk

Nondairy butter

Salt & pepper, to taste

Boil tomatoes to peel them then combine with other ingredients into the blender. We add more basil leaves that the recipe usually asks for and we have never added butter It is still excellent. Some soups are even better the next day.  This is one of them.

We usually eat this with our grilled cheese sandwich (see tomorrow’s post).

This is a very good recipe book you need to look at it.

“The Museum reminds us that the universe is grander than ourselves, older than
we can fathom, and that the world actually revolves around the sun and not us.”

          Reunion Tower

Built in 1974, Reunion Tower is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Dallas.
It is 50 stories high and has observation deck. Wolfgang Puck took the restaurant over and remolded it naming it Five Sixty. The floor rotates 360 degrees every 55 minutes giving everyone a chance to take in the skyline views while you dine.
